Tweed Day Surgery Sale Announcement

Healthscope has announced the sale of Tweed Day Surgery to private day surgery group Day Hospital Partners (DHP). The transaction will be completed on October 1st.

Day Hospital Partners first approached us late last year with an offer to acquire Tweed Day Surgery.    

We believe this sale is in the best interests of our employees, doctors, and the local community.

Healthscope remains committed to:

• Ensuring continuity of care for patients
• Supporting our staff and doctors throughout the transition

There will be no changes to patient referrals or care at this time. It will remain business as usual, with the same clinical teams and doctors continuing to provide high-quality care.

Day Hospital Partners specialize in Day Surgery and bring extensive experience, including their work with Montserrat Day Hospitals. They currently own and operate:

• Townsville Day Surgery
• Darwin Day Surgery
